Hi I'm Cathie McGill and here at The Spirit of Yoga I offer you the Yoga tools towards better health & Wellness. My Hatha Yoga Classes are a combination of Physical Movement and Static Stretching and opening the phyisical body. Restorative Yoga is based on Yoga as Therapy. Restorative's purpose is to bring your body and mind towards stillness. This is why I share Yoga in an integrative way, to ensure you as a whole person returns back into being and feeling balanced. Yoga has changed since I began teaching in 1997, 20 years ago now. Most classes only offer the physical postures, here I offer you specific practices weekly that will improve your overall physical health, mental health and emotional wellbeing. This often leads you to be able to make good life directives, choose healthier relationships and live in harmony with life. On this website you will find classes in Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga. Yoga Retreats and Training in Restorative Yoga. The Home studio space is at the front of our property in Norwood it is just large enough for groups of 9 -10.
